The local cops are quite intolerant when it comes to cannabis, so if you must smoke, you have to be on your guard.
Cannabis Prices
Surprisingly, cannabis can be more expensive (and more difficult to find) in Cannes compared to hashish.
Twelve grams of cannabis should cost you around 50 to 90 Euros. However, if you are buying from street dealers, there’s a fair chance you can end up paying a higher rate.
Just act like you know the prices and are ready to negotiate- don’t get fooled into buying expensive weed which honestly, isn’t even worth it.
As for hash, you can buy 12 grams for 30 to 50 Euros.
But here is when you need to be careful.
A lot of dealers will try to sell you fake hash or poor grade hash. To be on the safe side, try some out first before buying the most of it.
Another great tip- if you walk away with the bad hash and realize only later that what they sold you is fake, don’t try and go back to fight with them about it! There is a high chance that they’ll just beat you up or rob you!!

Where can you buy cannabis in Cannes?
Your best bet would be to go to the promenade. Here, walk around the casinos, and you will find a lot of Moroccan youth willing to sell you hash or weed.
However, in all honestly, you might find hash sold more widely, and it can be quite difficult to come across weed in Cannes.
